Eric Theodore, an artist from Bryan-College Station, Texas, was born around the Great Lakes of Michigan and grew up near the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.  Drawing has been his favorite hobby for as long as he can remember, and he started teaching himself to paint while in high school.

The rolling bluegrass hills of Kentucky were his next destination, where he attended Centre College.  Here his passion for art skyrocketed and his work took to another level, learning figure painting and glassblowing.  During this time he spent a semester abroad in Merida, Mexico, where he taught art in a bilingual school and travelled the Yucatan peninsula painting Mayan ruins.

Since graduating in 2015 with a degree in Art, Spanish, and English, Eric has shown his art in several states: Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Florida, and now Texas.  He first came to the Lone Star state last year for an artist residency in Navasota, and now calls Texas home.  He lives in Bryan-College Station area and continues teaching, exploring, and creating.
